North Penn Squires Football and Cheer

Better Sportsman Today, Better Citizens Tomorrow

In 1972, a handful of parents were looking to provide their children with a safe and nurturing environment for their children to participate in youth sports.

Mission Statement

The North Penn Athletic Association mission and philosophy is to continually strive to instill and cultivate a growth mindset in our young athletes. Through coaching and developing our athletes, physically and mentally, to have strong character, determination and resiliency that can be applied on and off the field so, that it can transcend into all aspects of their lives.

Our Program’s vision is clearer than ever. The North Penn Squires is committed to serving the youth of our community and to provide a safe environment and culture of belonging to foster a passion for learning and excellence through football and cheer.

Squires Family

A Place Where Families Belong

Choosing a youth sports program is about more than just the game — it’s about finding a community where your athlete and your family feel supported, welcomed, and valued. At North Penn Squires, we’re proud to offer exactly that.

While based in North Wales, the North Penn Squires proudly serve families from Lansdale, North Wales, and surrounding North Penn School District communities, providing a local, community-focused option for youth football and cheer.

From day one, new families quickly discover that the Squires are more than a football and cheer organization — we’re one big family. We believe the best youth sports experiences happen when athletes are having fun, parents feel connected, and everyone is included.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of events that give families the chance to get to know one another and build lasting friendships, including:

  • Parents’ Night Out events

  • Last Day of School celebrations

  • Summer BBQs and kickoff events

  • Fueling Stations to support athletes with recovery

  • Seasonal fun like Halloween shenanigans

  • Movies on the Field under the lights

These events help new families feel at home quickly — whether it’s your first season or your fifth.

Our focus is on creating a positive, fun, and supportive environment where athletes can grow in confidence, teamwork, and love for the game, while families become part of a welcoming community that extends well beyond the season.

When you join the North Penn Squires, you’re not just signing up for a team — you’re joining a family.
